Challenging Pecan Season Coming to Close for Georgia Producers

This year’s harvest has been challenging for Georgia’s pecan producers, with unseasonably warm temperatures late in the year along with an abundance of rain. The Monitor’s Ray D’Alessio visits Trent Mason, General Partner of Mason Pecans and VP of the Georgia Pecan Growers Association, to see how the crop turned out. Georgia’s harvest is expected to be around its usual 100 million pounds.
